The Anduaga typeface is the interpretation of the calligraphy that Joseph Anduaga proposed for teaching the first letters in the book published in 1780 Arte de escribir por reglas y sin Muestras… printed in the Imprenta Real in Madrid.
Anduaga proposed a system based in composition rules that broke with the imitation models prevailing at that time. This font is accompanied by a set of ornaments extracted from Spanish editions of the second half of XVIII Century.
