Courant is a blackletter font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.

“Courant” means “newspaper”.

The Courant font was modeled on 17th century Dutch newspapers and most of the glyphs are authentic. The ‘modern’ glyphs, like @, $, €, * and several others have been designed by me, as they were not in use in the 1600s.
