Designed by Tagir Safayev and Alexander Tarbeev, Courier is a typewriter and slab serif font family. This typeface has six styles and was published by ParaType.

Designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1990 by Tagir Safayev. Based on Courier typewriter face of International Business Machines, 1956, by Howard Kettler. The decorative styles were added in 1997 by Alexander Tarbeev.
