Obsolete was designed by Stephen Miggas and published by Aerotype. Obsolete contains 6 styles and family package options.  

The Obsolete family has Regular, Light, Bold each with an associated Alternate version.

The Opentype versions of the Obsolete Alternate family members have contextual ligatures that substitute a uniquely distressed pair of characters when any lower case character is typed twice in a row, to eliminate unrealistic repetition.

All have the classic typewriter punched-thru period (and a regular one).
