A universal text type was designed by Natalia Vasilyeva for ParaType in 2007. This type family consists of 8 styles with a corresponding decorative italic with calligraphic swash capitals.

The type has low contrast characters and narrow proportion. It is space-saving but very legible even in small sizes. It is both suited for text and display. The upgraded version with extended character set was released in 2010.
