Algerian Mesa is a display serif font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by FontMesa.

Inspired by the old Stephenson Blake Caps only font Algerian, this version, named Algerian Mesa, has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase.

New for 2016 are Opentype features including original alternates, oldstyle numerals and case sensitive forms, also new is a fully usable Alt version.

The original Algerian has long ascenders on the uppercase V, W and Y, in some applications this may create an unbalanced appearance, for this reason the Alt versions are available to give you more options when a different look is desired.
