Azur was designed by Gert Wiescher and published by Wiescher Design. Azur contains 32 styles and family package options.

»Azur« is my homage to the beautiful Côte d'Azur and the Provence Alpes Maritime Region. Scott Fitzgerald loved it in Antibes, Juan les Pins is famous for its Jazz, Cannes has that phantastic film festival and Monaco gets noisy during the Grand Prix. This is the most celebrated part of the Mediterranean. »Azur« has classic proportions with a few special letterforms here and there to give the font its unique, charming, Mediteranean character. Some ligatures and old style figures complete the sets. And the extra high xheight makes for excellent reading. I added a soft cornered rounded version to make it an even friendlier typeface. Of course there are real italic sets to make things complete. Enjoy!
