Originally designed in 1985 by Charles Bigelow and Kris Holmes and first licensed by the Imagen Corporation, Lucida Sans Typewriter is a monospaced sans serif typeface.

Like all Bigelow and Holmes types, it has distinct calligraphic origins that are most evident in its subtle curves and stroke weight variations.
