Designed by Alexander Tarbeev, Star is a grunge and display sans font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by ParaType.

Star was designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1995 by Alexander Tarbeev, based on PT Compact, 1991, by Vladimir Yefimov. A decorative style was added in 1996. It is best suited for use in advertising and display typography.
