Traction is a serif font family. This typeface has eighteen styles and was published by Schriftlabor.

Traction sports signature serifs, soft edges and a fluid, organic design, therefore it is ‘a sturdy organic text typeface with grip and attitude’. Enlarged, the organic letters are reminiscent of the profiles of off-road tires and hiking boots. But in text sizes, it is the humanistic forms that set the tone and ensure fluid legibility.

Typeset in 9 weights, from Regular to Black, each of them accompanied by an italic, totaling in 18 styles. In each style, you can activate small-caps. Every Traction font contains more than 1000 glyphs, including the capital German sharp ẞ. The complete family of 18 fonts has more than 18,200 glyphs and supports at least 218 languages.
